In 2018, Mr. Sarchet and his Construction Technology II class were asked to build an "Information Station" for the phenology garden at the Coshocton Lake Park Recreational Complex. Mr. Sarchet and his students donated over 20 hours of labor during the project they constructed in their lab. Once the project was complete, they delivered, installed and completed the landscaping around the Information Station. Because of this project Mr. Sarchet and his class were nominated for a "Friend of the OSUE Master Gardener Volunteer Program” award. On the evening of October 19th, 2020, the Coshocton County Career Center was informed that Mr. Sarchet had been recognized as one of the three Statewide award winners. Congratulations to Mr. Sarchet and his 2018 class of Construction Technology completer's.
